Being: Conscious, mortal existence; life.

Every month we welcome two families, two people, two voices to share their stories in whatever way they chose. We hope that you find joy in their daily lives, and their simple habit of just being.

This month we are so happy to welcome Sarah Swanson-Dexel as our guest in the Being series.  Sarah lives with her family in the redwood forest of Northern California, perched just above the Pacific.  She documents her life as a mother, creative spirit, beach comber and forest dweller on her beautiful blog, urban. prairie. forest.

This is so beautiful!!! The words and the trees.
I had to scroll up and back several times to just dwell with this tree for a bit.

sarah, i love it…. the words you chose, the careful placement of your photos, their tone…. thank you for sharing this place…. i’m guessing it’s just outside your door… what a gift.

you’re right beth! just out our front door.
