A way to celebrate Spring in our little abode is making wishes. The first day of Spring is a day to make many wishes.  Usually we don’t want to overdo wishes, even one a day is asking for too much, but on the Spring Equinox we get to wish away! We don’t like to be too selfish with our wishes so this year we are making wishes on wishing rocks to give to others.

Materials:

smooth rocks
acrylic paints
paintbrushes

Create

roth make a wish

~Paint your rock while thinking of the person who will be receiving the rock. Paint something that has special meaning to that person or a symbol of the wish you will be placing on the rock. Let dry.

~Hold your rock in the palm of your hand and whisper the wish while thinking of the receiver.

~ Hide the wishing rock where your receiver will find it easily. Include a little note with the intentions of the special treasure, “I made a wish on your behalf with this little rock.  Keep it in a special place to make the wish come true.”

This will bring a smile to the face of the receiver; it’s up to you whether or not you want to share the wish. Happy Spring!
